We are a fast growing SaaS company offering a new software category to the market which helps digital officers, marketers and developers fast forward the creation of relevant customer experiences in any channel. We are looking to hire a Sales Development Director with the aspiration to build a team others in the industry would be envy of!

Using Occtoo, digital officers, marketers and developers can unify all their content and experience data with ease, add intelligence logic to enable a relevant experience and create an API with a click to serve the data in real time everywhere. With our game changing technology we make the innovation power and creation of APIs accessible to people with zero coding skills so people can spend less time integrating data and more time being creative with data. 

We are building a global company designed for rapid growth and now we need more talented people to help us scale fast. Already trusted by many local and global customers, like Cartier, Fenix Outdoor and Filippa K, with experienced investors backing us. Based on a solid foundation we are taking the next step to rapidly grow our business in existing and new countries.

We are looking for a passionate and team-playing Sales Development Director.  The role is perfect for you who has some years of a strong track record sales development results, successful leadership of seasoned Sales/Business Development Representatives as well as managing professional growth of new comers in the profession. Being a small team, we do appreciate if you put a lot of pride in the art of Sales Development, operationally contributing to the teams effort, and you have a passion for value based sales, a challenger mentality, trustworthy and structured personality with an ability to make people enthusiastic about new things. Your effort will be an essential difference in how fast we can attract new customers and team members to join our family!

You and your team will be a part of a tight revenue team of specialists including marketing specialists, Account Executives, pre-sales, and Customer Success Managers, where we together guide our customers from first contact to closed business and successful usage of our service.

In summary, here is what you will be responsible for:

  • Management and coaching of our team of existing Sales Development Representatives to ensure pipeline growth in line with company targets
  • Ensuring team members’ professional development to ensure higher quality pipeline over time, including taking on people new to the SDR role and train them
  • Recruitment of new team members to meet further growth targets
  • Working with Sales and Marketing to build the best possible stories to attract and inspire prospect stakeholders
  • Ensuring that the team stories aligns with the marketing message, sales promise as well as product delivery
  • Day-to-day responsibility for lead generation, including channel mix selection as well as the monitoring and acting on reps’ activities when adjustment is needed.
  • Maintaining KPIs and dashboard reporting to executive management

This is what your experience and skillsets will need to include: 

  • Has worked within sales development or wider sales for at least 4 years
  • Has had SDR role in a B2B software company, preferably SaaS
  • Leadership experience, ensuring team’s success in the context of company success by ensuring the right people have the right skills and tools to do their job
  • High energy level, keeping the activity levels high in the team at all times
  • Collaborative with the wider company - important that the team doesn’t work in a silo, but as a very important part of the sales cycle
  • Able to lead by example at times - a successful candidate has been working as a SDR/BDR previously in their career. They understand what to do in different situations as well as being able to convey that to the wider team in a way that leads to improvement.
  • Ability to take a step back and see the wider picture as well as focusing on keeping the team to high daily activity targets
  • International experience and mindset - prospects are initially in Europe, and team members can work from anywhere it makes sens
  • Fluent in business English, and are based in the CET ±1h.
